DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And LooperDigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And Looper

Delay and Looper from DigiTech. The DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 DelayAnd Looper give you eight seconds of delay and a ton of loop time - plus, its true bypass keeps your signal pure and clean from the guitar when it's turned off and high-voltage operation are standard features on the HardWire series pedal.

The DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And Looper has 4 dial knob that is Level, Repaet, Time and Delay or Loop type controls allow you to use the the HardWire DL-8 pedal to further tailor your sound.

The DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And Looper is a delay and Looper effect pedal that features stereo I/O with selectable tails and a choice of 11 different delay types. Among the delays you can configure with the DL-8 are Analog, Lo-Fi, Tape, and Reverse. The DigiTech DL-8 pedal also provides up to 8 seconds of delay and 20 seconds of looping as well as functions like tap-tempo and more.

DigiTech HardWire pedals represent a commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all DigiTech HardWire guitar pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact. is just the beginning. Inside each HardWire pedal are technological features that serious players require.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by an electric guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal, normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. DigiTech HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. That means the HardWire DL-8 delay looper pedal can work with a wider range of guitars and is also at home in your amplifier's effects loop.

True Bypass
Switch on this pedal is True Bypass, This pedal gives you rich Area simulation when you switch on your pedal and completely true signal bypass when it's off, True Bypass is the only way to keep your tone exactly the way you want it between your guitar and amp.

High-voltage operation
The DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And Looper operate at higher voltage than your standard pedals, pickups with high-output found in some electric guitars. HardWire pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage "headroom" above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals are compatible with a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.

DigiTech - HardWire™ DL-8 Delay And Looper

Superior Technology • Meticulous Craftsmanship • True Innovation

True Bypass. HardWire pedals modify your guitar tone only when you want. HardWire pedals add pure effects when they’re on and don’t add noise when they’re off—truly the best of both worlds. And if you happen to lose power to HardWire pedals in the middle of a performance, you can keep playing because HardWire pedals switch to True Bypass mode until power is restored.

Higher Voltage . HardWire pedals preserve guitar tone because they operate at a significantly higher voltage than your standard pedals. HardWire pedals get the most out of hot guitar pickups and perform flawlessly in the high voltage environment of an amplifier effects loop.

Constant Voltage. HardWire pedals guarantee constant effects performance throughout the life of the battery and prevent tone loss because they operate at a steady voltage—independent of decaying battery voltage.

Tourworthy. HardWire pedals are designed for the touring musician. Unique Stomplock™ guards prevent controls from being kicked and your tone from being changed. Each HardWire pedal includes custom-cut Velcro® pads to fasten it to a pedalboard and green gaffer tape for the actuator label and see the pedal in the most adverse stage lighting conditions.

Overview

DL-8 Delay/Looper presents a variety of loops and delays. Augment your performances by dialing in and fine-tuning your favorite delays (from 150 milliseconds to 8 seconds) and loops: Reverse, Modulated, Analog, Slapback, Lo Fi, Tape, and Loop. As with all HardWire pedals, the DL-8 is crafted from premium all-metal components to perform night after night, tour after tour.

Applications

Rock-A-Billy Slapback
Twang your leads:

1. Connect the HardWire DL-8 Delay/Looper pedal before your amp or in your amplifier’s effects loop.

2. Set controls to:
  • - Level: 10 o’ clock
  • - Repeats: 8 o’ clock
  • - Time: 9 o’ clock
  • - Mode: Tape

3. Turn on to during solos. For rhythm delay reduce the delay level to 9 o’ clock.

LoFi Delays
Subtle repeats:

1. Connect the HardWire DL-8 Delay/Looper pedal before your amp or in your amplifier’s effects loop.

2. Set controls to:
  • - Level: 9 o’ clock
  • - Repeats: 9 o’ clock
  • - Time: 11 o’ clock
  • - Mode: LoFi

3. Use to add texture to your tone.

Digital Delay Layers
Play into the layers:

1. Connect the HardWire DL-8 Delay/Looper pedal before your amp or in your amps effects loop.

2. Set controls to:
  • - Level: 12 o’ clock
  • - Repeats: 12 o’ clock
  • - Time: 9 o’ clock
  • - Mode: 1 Second

3. Play into the delay for layered tones. For more layers, turn up the Repeats to 3 o’ clock.

Solo Act Looper
Laying down loops is quick and easy:

1. Connect the HardWire DL-8 Delay/Looper pedal before your amp or in your amps effects loop.

2. Set controls to:
  • - Level: 12 o’ clock
  • - Repeats: Minimum
  • - Time: 9 o’ clock (adjust as needed)
  • - Mode: Loop

3. Hold down the foot pedal until the LED indicator turns red and play your loop. Release the foot pedal when done.

4. LED indicator turns green, loop automatically plays.

5. To add more layers, repeat step 3.
