Digitech - HardWire™ CM-2 Tube OverdriveDigitech - HardWire™ CM-2 Tube Overdrive

Is an analog overdrive pedal from DigiTech, The HardWire™ CM-2 Tube Overdrive has 2 Modes of operation swtich Classic and Modified, Classic Mode offers transparent and responsive overdrive and Modified Mode adds more gain and more low end, has 4 dial Level, Gain, Low, and High tone controls.

The Classic mode produces a tonally transparent and articulate overdrive perfect for adding gain before a clean tube combo or driving a dirty tube head. The Modified setting produces more gain and gives the overdrive a fatter low end for a bluesier tone

True bypass
This pedal gives you rich tube overdrive tone when you switch on your pedal and completely true signal bypass when it's off, True Bypass is the only way to keep your tone exactly the way you want it between your guitar and amp.

High-voltage operation
The HardWire™ CM-2 Tube Overdrive operate at higher voltage than your standard pedals, pickups with high-output found in some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal - normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage "headroom" above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals are compatible with a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.

Superior Technology • Meticulous Craftsmanship • True Innovation

True Bypass. HardWire pedals modify your guitar tone only when you want. HardWire pedals add pure effects when they’re on and don’t add noise when they’re off—truly the best of both worlds. And if you happen to lose power to HardWire pedals in the middle of a performance, you can keep playing because HardWire pedals switch to True Bypass mode until power is restored.

Higher Voltage. HardWire pedals preserve guitar tone because they operate at a significantly higher voltage than your standard pedals. HardWire pedals get the most out of hot guitar pickups and perform flawlessly in the high voltage environment of an amplifier effects loop.

Constant Voltage. HardWire pedals guarantee constant effects performance throughout the life of the battery and prevent tone loss because they operate at a steady voltage—independent of decaying battery voltage.

Tourworthy. HardWire pedals are designed for the touring musician. Unique Stomplock™ guards prevent controls from being kicked and your tone from being changed. Each HardWire pedal includes custom-cut Velcro® pads to fasten it to a pedalboard and green gaffer tape for the actuator label and see the pedal in the most adverse stage lighting conditions.
